To “Borrow” some words from Shakespeare’s “Henry V”
Cry ‘God for Harry, England, and Saint George!’
Our diminutive Borrows Well Tank “The King”, built in St Helens, Lancashire 119 years ago will be once again stepping into the breach and hauling passenger trains along the Preston Dock Railway this St Georges Day weekend. This is a rare opportunity to ride behind a locomotive whose classmates are extremely scarce in preservation.
Tickets include entrance to our wonderful museum and all day travel on the trains. We have a gift shop and a café serving drinks and light refreshments.
