It’s our annual autumn festival of steam and rail at Ribble Steam Railway on September 29th and 30th. This exciting celebration sees steam trains running every forty five minutes from 11am.
Stars of the Show:
Illingworth – Visiting from Embsay and Bolton Abbey Railway! This 1916 machine is newly restored, and is sure to be the star of this event. Illingworth features on most trains, so you’re bound to get a ride behind her.
Grant Richie 272 – Returning from a summer at Telford Steam Railway, this Victorian locomotive is the sole survivor from her class, and is well worth a look!
Linda – Our stalwart blue tank engine has done the lion’s share of our work this season. Come and see this Hawthorne Leslie machine plying the trade.
Courageous – Returning to service at Ribble Steam Railway after a summer of maintenance work, this engine completes the line-up, and has always been a favorite for visitors & members.
