DESCRIPTION:On several dates throughout the year\, you can dine in style on board our Royal Saloon. \nThe Royal Saloon will be added to the train on the following dates :- \nMonday 26th May – Bank Holiday Monday \nSaturday 20th June – Fathers Day Celebrations \nSaturday 25th July – Summer Saturday \nMonday 31st August – Bank Holiday Weekend \nSaturday 26th September – Autumn Gala Weekend \nThe Royal Saloon was built by the Great Eastern Railway in 1898 and has recently been fully restored by our volunteers. The carriage was specifically built for Princess Alexandra\, wife of the future King Edward VII. \nWe will be serving refreshments throughout the day. In the morning we will be seving At lunchtime we will be serving a Ploughman’s Lunch with a beer or a glass of white wine (non alcoholic alternative also available).  In the afternoon we will be serving Alison’s Cream Tea or Afternoon Tea. For an extra touch of luxury you can  also add a glass of prosecco. \nThe ticket price includes entrance to our wonderful museum\, cafe\, shop\, the supplement to travel in the Royal Saloon and unlimited travel in standard class accommodation on all other trains thorough out the day. We also have a gift shop selling railway themed souvenirs and a tea room serving drinks & light refreshments. \n11.00am Train – Morning Coffee and Cake \n \nCoffee & Cake in the Royal Saloon\nJoin us for one return trip on the Ribble Steam Railway whilst enjoying coffee and cake. \nAdults £22.50 (£12.50 General admission +£5.00 Royal Saloon Supplement + £5.00 Coffee & Cake (Tea is also available). \nChildren £15.00 (£7.50 General admission +£2.50 Royal Saloon Supplement + £5.00 Coffee & Cake (Tea is also available). \n12.00 pm and 1pm Train – Ploughman’s Lunch \n \nPloughman’s Lunch in the Royal Saloon\nJoin us at 12 o’clock or 1 o’clock for a return trip on the Ribble Steam Railway whilst enjoying our take on a Ploughman’s Lunch\, consisting of cheese\, pate\, mini pork pie\, tomatoes\, grapes\, pickles and bread with a beer\, a glass of white wine or an apple juice. \nAdults £27.50 (£12.50 General admission +£5.00 Royal Saloon Supplement + £10.00 Ploughman’s Lunch). \nChildren £20.00 (£7.50 General admission +£2.50 Royal Saloon Supplement + £10.00 Ploughman’s Lunch). \nThe Ploughman’s Lunch is not recommended for children under 8 years old. \n2:00pm Train  – Traditional Afternoon Tea \n \nAfternoon Tea in the Royal Saloon\nFor the Afternoon Tea you will be served a selection of  sandwiches\, a mini pork pie\, sausage rolls\, cream and jam scones\, cup cakes and a mini trifle\, along with hot drinks. SUMMARY:Fish & Chip Supper
DESCRIPTION:Come and join us for a Fish & Chip supper served at your reserved seat on a vintage steam train. \nThe train will depart from Preston Riverside station at 5pm. The buffet car will also be open for the sale of alcoholic and soft drinks. \nTickets are £30 for Adults and £25 for Children. \nThe tickets are valid all day so why not come earlier\, have a look round our museum\, including a special display of items not normally out on show\, and have a ride on one of the other trains running that day. As this is our Spring Steam Gala day there will be 5 steam engines operating an intense timetable. \n\n\n			\n				Tickets can only be booked in advance by following this link.
