SUMMARY:Royal Saloon Dining - Father's Day Celebrations
DESCRIPTION:On several dates throughout the year\, you can dine in style on board our Royal Saloon \nThe Royal Saloon will be added to the train on the following dates :- \nMonday 25th May – Bank Holiday Monday \nSaturday 20th June – Fathers Day Celebrations \nSaturday 25th July – Summer Saturday \nMonday 31st August – Bank Holiday Weekend \nSaturday 26th September – Autumn Gala Weekend \nThe Royal Saloon was built by the Great Eastern Railway in 1898 and has recently been fully restored by our volunteers. The carriage was specifically built for Princess Alexandra\, wife of the future King Edward VII. \nWe will be serving refreshments throughout the day. In the morning we will be seving At lunchtime we will be serving a Ploughman’s Lunch with a beer or a glass of white wine (non alcoholic alternative also available).  In the afternoon we will be serving Alison’s Cream Tea or Afternoon Tea. For an extra touch of luxury you can  also add a glass of prosecco. \nThe ticket price includes entrance to our wonderful museum\, cafe\, shop\, the supplement to travel in the Royal Saloon and unlimited travel in standard class accommodation on all other trains thorough out the day.
