You will notice we have changed a few things here at Ribble, keeping life safe and simple with:

1 2 3 Steps to Remember

Relax, have fun and enjoy your experience:

1 – Before Visiting

  • Tickets: Please pre-book your tickets in advance on our ticket website (click on link)
  • NHS Covid-19 App: we would encourage you to download the App before your visit, and scan our QR code when you arrive.
  • Arriving on Time: Make sure you know where we are and arrive on time (45 minutes before your train time). The trains leave on the hour and you will need to board in good time for your trip. This will also give you time to experience our fabulous Industrial Heritage Museum and to fully relax and enjoy your Ribble Experience.

2 – During Visiting

  • Face masks: Face covers are optional as they are no longer compulsory whilst in our museum, gift shop and on-board the train.

  • Track-and-trace System: We will retain your contact details for 21 days as part of your digital booking.
  • Social Distancing: New measures are in place, so mind the gap!  Family and Friends groups are requested not to mingle outside of their social bubble.
  • Hand Sanitisation:  We have provided hand sanitiser at the entrance door, around the museum and platform doors. Please make use of these, especially before you board the train.
  • Extra Cleaning and Hygiene Regimes: Are in place, between every train journey, in our museum, shop, cafe and toilets.
  • Refreshments: Light refreshments snacks, hot and cold drinks will be available in our Tea Room. If you bring your own food, please respectfully take your rubbish home with you.
  • Toilets: Available next to our Gift Shop, we have limited number access. Remember toilets have never been, and are still not available on-board our heritage trains.
  • **Face coverings are available free shop, should you leave yours at home.
  • *Train Seating and Your Group :  Our Station Master and Platform Stewards will be able to assist you in finding your seat.
