Over the past few years, our popular family visitor attraction has been expanding and developing. This is down to the time, commitment and efforts of our fabulous volunteer team.  At Ribble we know our volunteers make a difference and we care about our volunteers.

Why Volunteer? Are you looking to do something in your spare time?  Or do you want to develop new skills and experiences? Maybe you want to share your talents, knowledge and experience? Meet new friends?

Volunteering is a fabulous way to keep fit and well whatever your age, from 18- 80 years! Here at Ribble Steam Railway and Museum we offer you great opportunities, in our unique working heritage railway and museum. Imagine training to be a Loco Driver, Fireman or Guard? Or join our energetic Front of House (FOH) team and try out your talents in catering, retail and museum. Full training and support will be given.
