Did you know you can volunteer as a working member? It is a great way to meet new people, learn new skills and give back something back.
You could join our Front of House team to work with visitors in the museum, cafe, shop and education.
What about training to be a Guard, Fireman and Driving?
We have many roles behind the scenes restoring our locomotives and carriages and keeping our trains operational.
We are always looking for people to help out. See the volunteers page for more information about becoming a working member and talk to Director Alison Pinch, or Front of House Manager Paulo Marques.
