Come and join us for our Model Railway Weekend featuring a variety of model railways various gauges, including our own standard gauge rail service. featuring a frequent Steam Service with departures from 11:00 with Furness Railway No.20 in charge of trains
August Bank Holiday weekend 2026 is also the final time our admission tickets are reduced, taking advantage of the VAT reduction for summer attractions for kids!
Tickets include entrance to our wonderful museum and all day travel on the trains. We have a gift shop and a café serving drinks and light refreshments.
Layouts confirmed on display:
- Strange over Sands. (Based on Grange over sands.)
- Jayden’s Junction
- Strathmore junction (All modelling materials donated by John Sterziker)
Additionally, 3 rail, and clockwork layouts will be on display in the main museum area
