Visit our fabulous museum then take a trip on one of the many steam trains running each day. Our Tea Room will also be open for drinks and light refreshments.
A varied timetable will be in operation throughout the day, which will feature our home steam fleet.
There’s even a new Cheese & Wine Service to complete the day (see below)
Throughout the day there will be regular shunting demonstrations in our museum yard, along with a number of the locomotives using our turntable

Tickets are all-day rover tickets.
Furness Railway Trust will be opening their workshop for the day & offering rare tours of the facility, where you can see first hand progress on their large restoration projects of 4979 Wooton Hall, GWR 5643, Hunslet 3794 “Cumbria” and Peckett 1925 “Caliban”. They will also be running a book stall to raise funds for the Trust.

On the day, we are pleased to offer three distinct dining options
These tickets may be purchased as alternatives to the basic entrance tickets above, and include a dining service aboard the 1898 Royal Saloon built for Princess Alexandra.
The Coffee & Cake and Cream Tea Options offer a timed static dining experience on board the saloon as it will be stabled in our bay platform
The Cheese, Wine & Steam service will form the last departure on the day, hauled by Furness Railway No.20 down the line as evening draws in
