As we get into some lovely summer weather, our oldest resident, Furness Railway No.20 from 1863, has gone on her holidays to Somerset.
The locomotive is currently visiting the West Somerset Railway as part of their 150th Anniversary celebrations.
There have been some inclement days, but in the main the grand old lady is managing to get a great tan by the seaside!
All being well, 20 will be back with us in mid August, where she is rostered to work our trains on August 10th 2024
Unfortunately we have had to cancel our planned Folk Music Evening on 14th September 2024….
