Brake Van Rides confirmed for our Spring Gala on March 28th
We’re delighted to announce that as an additional attraction during our Steam Gala event on March 28th, Brake Van rides featuring our SR Queen Mary Brake Van will operate from Platform 0 in between the main service.
These short shuttles head West from the Preston Riverside platform, and give rare track access for passenger service on an unusual vehicle – it also allows you to get closer to the action from each balcony to hear the engines working.
Spaces are limited, and for a small supplement, tickets can be purchased for the various departures during the day
