During the Spring Steam Gala on 28th March, The Furness Railway Trust will be opening their workshop for the day & offering rare tours of the facility, where you can see first hand progress on their large restoration projects of 4979 Wooton Hall, GWR 5643, Hunslet 3794 “Cumbria” and Peckett 1925 “Caliban”. They will also be running a book stall to raise funds for the Trust.
